2015 Willamette Valley Pinot Gris

It can't get much better on a hot summer day...stone fruit, cotton candy and a creamy texture balanced with crisp acidity...just lovely.

Wine Tasting Sheet

Chuck Hill, Wines Northwest: Wines of the Week, White Wines for Summer Seafoods - Published July 30, 2017
"Panther Creek Cellars was founded in downtown McMinnville, but now welcomes visitors daily at their tasting room on Highway 99W in Dundee, Oregon. Consulting winemaker Tony Rynders crafted this food-friendly Pinot Gris using stainless steel fermentation to preserve bright fruit and vibrant flavors. Stone fruits, citrus, orange blossom and spice pair well with all seafoods."
Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Reflective of the 2015 vintage, the Pinot Gris is bright, rich and creamy with layers of aromas and flavors lending great complexity. Flint, wet stone, apricot nectar, white peach, orange blossom and a hint of cotton candy are supported by an expansive mid-palate and a long stone fruit finish.
